With all of the horror stories of inappropriate sites children have stumbled across and predators trolling social media networks it can be easy to forget that the internet is just a tool to be used, for better or for worse.

When community-minded organizations come together to support each other's missions we all win, which is why the folks at Our Child Safe (AAR) are so pleased to announce their latest collaborative partners, Autism Speaks and Deliver the Dream.
“Our goal is to be a major force in giving back to the community,” says OCS Vice President Zephora Haddon.

So why are some companies questioned by others as to their true motives when they give away part of their proceeds to non-profits?
A friend on Twitter, Zephora Haddon, owns a company called “Our Child Safe” which offers the service of a secure database with key data and photos to assist law enforcement if a child were to go missing. OCS had decided from the get-go that, not only did they want to help protect children in a vital way, but equally work to aid nonprofits and the education system in their own deepest issue: raising funds for their own purposes.

Some children are found, others, sadly are not. The single biggest factor in finding a child may be whether or not they are registered with the Amber Alert system ahead of time, authorities say. Crowds of parents lined up outside of an Amber Alert kiosk at the Wellington Mall with the aim of getting their child into the system. "Yesterday we had an Amber Alert in Royal Palm Beach," said parent Marla Masi. "It scared the heck out of me to know somebody's kid was missing."

Boca Raton, FL –
As a Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney who specializes in prosecuting sex crimes against children, Robin Sax is intimately acquainted with what works – and what doesn't – in the cluttered realm of child-safety products.
The nationally-renowned author, speaker and legal analyst knows a great child safety idea when she sees one, and she likes what she sees in a local proactive child safety organization, Our Child Safe (AAR).
In fact, Sax is so impressed with the Our Child Safe; she calls it “a Must Have Registry” in her new book “Predators and Child Molesters, What Every Parent Needs to Know to Keep Kids Safe”.
